You Can Help
Indicate your support of the ABR, by applying for formal membership.
And, if you have the experience, skill and time resources which could help the ABR develop, you can volunteer to serve on one of our committees.
Of course, a most important way to help is to spread the word about our objectives.
By sharing our concerns, opinions and ideas we can build the ABR into an effective community of caring backcountry recreationalists. Organized together, we will be better able to preserve and protect the wilderness-like qualities of Algonquin Park.
Voluntary Donations
While there are no dues being charged for membership, the ABR will be depending heavily on support donations. Voluntary donations will enable us to better develop our website presence, to start publishing educational material .. as well to eventually register and operate as a Non Profit Organization.
If you do online banking in Canada, you can email an Interac Email Money Transfer to the ABR at donations@abrweb.ca. Please remember to send your "personal security question" and its precise "security answer" to donations@abrweb.ca in a separate email.
And you may send voluntary support donations in the form of a cheque (made payable to "Algonquin Backcountry Recreationalists") to ...
